Interviewer Dylis Lewis began at Central Piedmont through the Summer Bridge Program in 2016. He originally intended to transfer to a four-year institution and join the fencing team, but found that he felt at home and stable at Central Piedmont. He then enrolled in the Broadcasting and Production Technology program. He enjoys photography, poetry, cinematography, song-writing, singing, and producing music. He would like to go into the film industry as a cinematographer after graduating from the program by spring 2020.
Interviewer Alexys Carrasquillo is a Central Piedmont student originally from Hialeah, Florida. She’s lived in North Carolina for nine years and has been a Central Piedmont student since 2017. After Alexys graduated high school in 2015, she began college studying nursing and started posting videos online when she discovered her love for creating and editing videos. This led Alexys to join the Broadcasting and Production Technology program at Central Piedmont. She continues to create video and travel diaries for her YouTube channel, Lexy Carra. She hopes to produce content for a major production company upon graduating.
Master of Ceremonies Jordan Greer is a Central Piedmont student studying nursing. He is the president of Phi Theta Kappa honor society and an active member of TRIO, Service in Action, Rotaract, and the Volleyball Club. Jordan recently helped with Central Piedmont’s new strategic planning process. He will graduate in May 2019 and transfer to a four-year university to major in nursing.
